Hisexpertise spans broking, claims, and corporate risk, with a strong foundationas a Small Average Adjuster under the Norwegian Marine Insurance Plan of 1964.

Bård’s career includes pivotal leadership roles at Polarcus,Willis, and Gallagher, where he built and led marine operations in Dubai,managing high-stakes claims and strategic client relationships. In September2025, he was appointed Senior Vice President International Marine Lead atLockton, based in Oslo. In this role, he is driving Lockton’s marine strategyacross the Nordic region and internationally, reinforcing the firm’s commitmentto delivering world-class risk solutions in key shipping and offshore markets.
